Clinical Supervision

Supervision should do more than sign off on hours. Good supervision gives you somewhere to bring the case that is keeping you up, the client you are quietly dreading, and the question you are embarrassed to ask.

I supervise graduate interns, pre-licensed professionals working toward LPC or LAC, and peer recovery coaches. If you are pursuing addiction counselor certification in Colorado, ask about CAC Core Curriculum credit — required coursework hours can often be covered as part of supervision.

As Clinical Director at Denver Recovery Solutions and a supervisor with Lost and Found Behavioral Wellness, I spend a lot of my week on the development side of this field. It is genuinely the part of the work I enjoy most.
