Substance Use & Mental Health Assessment
A thorough evaluation with written findings and clear level-of-care recommendations.
An assessment is a structured conversation about your substance use and mental health history, current functioning, and risk factors, resulting in a written report with recommendations for level of care.
These are commonly requested by courts, employers, probation officers, treatment programs, and licensing boards. Just as often, people request one for themselves because they want a straight answer about where they actually stand rather than continuing to guess.
I conduct assessments the same way I conduct therapy: without judgment, and without a predetermined conclusion. The report reflects what the evaluation actually found.
